Manhunt for 4 escaped prisoners

Police in Bela Bela have launched a manhunt for four awaiting trial prisoners who escaped from Bela Bela police station on Sunday night.
Limpopo police’s Motlalefa
Mojapelo says five initially escaped but one was re-arrested.
“Five prisoners escaped just before 22h00 and one of them was cornered and re-arrested just outside the police station yard. The other four fled into the darkness and are still at large.”
He says all of them were arrested for armed robbery.
“The circumstances of the escape are still being investigated. Anyone with information about these escapees is requested to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop.”
