Massive flames engulf Pretoria paint shop

A business premises in Pretoria West has been engulfed in flames.
The blaze broke out at a business on Court and Soutter streets on Monday.
Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Johan Pieterse says a paint shop caught fire.
"We've got some explosions inside due to the paint products. The fire is still raging and we do not have it under control yet," Pieterse explains.

ER24 spokesperson Russell Meiring says: "Initial reports show that one person has been injured. We urge members of the public to avoid this area as firefighters are on scene battling the blaze and will be doing so for some time."
The fire has since been extinguished.
However, firefighters will remain on scene until 19:00.

Pieterse says the fire broke out in a concealed space and people quickly evacuated.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
