Police and private security companies attended to the shooting.
Police confirmed there was a shooting at the mall.
However, they were unable to provide any further details at this stage due to their computer system being offline over the weekend.
In a statement, Kyalami Corner management say they are putting additional security measures in place.
"The safety of shoppers and tenants is our top priority. The shooting over the weekend is a serious incident and we are working closely with police. Following the incident, we have had security meetings to evaluate the situation and put additional security measures in place."
Three armed robberies at shopping centres across Gauteng were reported at the weekend.
Johannesburg's Mall of the South as well as Cradlestone Mall in Krugersdorp had been hit.
