New Miss SA vows to fight for mental health awareness

Twenty-four-year-old Shudufhadzo Musida has been crowned Miss South Africa 2020.
The Limpopo beauty was crowned during Saturday's closed event at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town.
Musida has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria.
She is currently doing her BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.
Apart from the coveted crown, Musida also walks away with a R3-million prize package.
Shudu impressed the panel of female-only judges, including reigning Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunsi, presenter Anele Mdoda and actress Leandie du Randt, with her strong views on normalising mental health issues.
Thato Mosehle was crowned as first runner-up, while Natasha Joubert took third spot.

Tunzi touched down at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Saturday It's the first time Tunzi is in South since winning Miss Universe in December last year. "One of my biggest jobs as Miss Universe is one of awareness. I know that people are listening, I know that people are watching whatever it is that I do.
