The Hawks has clarified that they did not issue a warrant of arrest for former President Jacob Zuma's son Duduzane.
The acting Hawks head Yolisa Matakata, was speaking at a media briefing on Friday.
It has been widely reported that Zuma is also a fugitive wanted in connection with the Estina diary project.
Responding to a question of whether Zuma is a fugitive Matakata says she is not going to answer the question directly as the investigation is still on-going.
"I am not at liberty to talk about Duduzane Zuma which we never made a pronouncement about," Matakata explains.
"We never made that pronouncement given at the time that the eight suspects were appearing in court, we only referred to Ajay Gupta as a fugitive, we never mentioned Duduzane Zuma," Matakata says.

Meanwhile Matakata reiterates the warrant of arrest for Ajay Gupta is not related to the Estina case.
Matakata says Gupta is wanted for an unrelated corruption case.
"At the moment we are liaising with his lawyers who have written to us and we have responded accordingly," she says.
Matakata says she cannot give any more information because this will jeopardize the case.
In terms of the Estina case, 13 suspects are involved at this stage, while eight appeared in court and five are still being sought.
The Hawks says the arrest of the eight suspects was the first phase of the investigation which is part of a broader state capture probe.
