Northen Cape farm murder trial postponed
Updated | By Neo Leeuw
The trial of the teenager accused of killing three members of the Steenkamp family on their farm was postponed on Wednesday by the Kimberley High Court to next month.

In a brief court sitting, Northern Cape Judge President Frans Kgomo said the case was postponed by agreement between the State and the defence to December 9. Kgomo gave no reasons for the postponement.
The local office of the National Prosecuting Authority also indicated there would be no comment on Wednesday’s postponement.
On Wednesday, final arguments by the State and the 17-year-old accused's lawyer would have been presented.
The teenager stands accused of killing farmer Deon Steenkamp, 44, his wife Christel, 43, and their daughter Marthella, 14. They were shot dead on their farm Naauwhoek, near Griekwastad, on April 6, 2012.
He is also accused of raping Marthella and lying to police.
