The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has welcomed the sentence handed down to convicted rapist Nicholas Ninow on Thursday.
Ninow was handed a life sentence by the high court in Pretoria for the rape of a 7-year old girl at the Dros restaurant in Silverton in December last year.
He was also sentenced to five years for drug possession and five for defeating the ends of justice, with count one and three expected to run concurrently.
