ANC members slugged it out in the streets of Johannesburg on Monday morning, with some saying they are fighting for the future of the party, while others fiercely defended the party's leadership.
The ANC Youth League's national leadership was out in full force - backing President Zuma.
ANCYL Treasurer General, Reggie Nkabinde hinted at a sinister motive behind the call for President Jacob Zuma to resign.
Nkabinde said they will not entertain the protestor's demands.
"How do you march against your own family? It has never been like that. Our stance is that we will pronounce ourselves, as an organisation, against everyone who has been part of these activities. In fact, we are more worried about those funders out there who are underground, because this thing is not innocent that is happening here. We know that there are people who have an agenda to overthrow the government of the ANC as well as President Jacob Zuma," he said.
Nkaminde said they remain unshaken and that President Zuma was not going anywhere.
