Deputy President David Mabuza has vowed to prioritize access to sanitary products for girls in school.
Mabuza delivered the closing address at the South African Aids Conference in Durban on Friday.
"Our learners, especially the adolescents, girls and young women will be getting focus attention from government. This entails a holistic approach to sexuality starting from the age appropriate to life skill education in schools so that young people have an understanding of their bodies," said Mabuza.
