Parts of Centurion without power
Residents in various parts of Centurion could be without power until tomorrow.
City of Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says power will be restored around 06:00 tomorrow morning.
Highveld, Centurion Golf Estate and some areas along Olivenhoutbosch Road, Oak Avenue as well as John Vorster Avenue have been left without power following a break-in at the Highveld substation.

Mashigo says six cables at the substation were removed.
"Three of the six cables are feeder power lines from Kentron substation."

The City of Tshwane has apologised to Centurion residents for the inconvenience caused and says technicians are hard at work trying to restore power.
