The man accused of killing petrol attendant Lawrence Mandipazano is expected to appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate's Court on Friday.
In July, the Cape Argus newspaper reported that Labeeq Manan, 30, was released on R3000 bail on July 3.
He reportedly faces a murder charge after Lawrence Mandipazano, 34, was assaulted at the Lentegeur service station on June 4. He died in hospital.
The court heard that Manan faced no previous convictions or warrants of arrests.
According to the report, he had faced cases of assault in 2009 and 2010, which were withdrawn.
He also had a warrant of arrest which was erroneously issued and removed from the court roll.
Manan reportedly told the court he had not known Mandipazano and would not make any contact with State witnesses.
