Gauteng police have launched a manhunt following the killing of a 44-year-old man in Troye Street, Pretoria, on Friday morning.

The South African Police Service (SAPS)’ Daniel Mavimbela says the deceased was certified dead on the scene.
"Information suggests that while the deceased was dropping off their brother, a white Polo came from behind and the occupants stopped next to his car and shot him to death."
Mavimbela adds that the area in which the incident occurred is highly populated and that the police believe that there could have been people who witnessed the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information on this incident to come forward.
