Police in Limpopo clamp down on border crime

Police in Limpopo have recovered two vehicles, firearms and bags of dagga during a joint clean-up operation that is continuing in the province.
According to police spokesperson, Moatshe Ngoepe, they are focusing on border posts and points of entry into the province.
Four suspects between the ages of 26 and 41 were arrested for the possession of a suspected stolen car, as well as possession of dagga.
Police recovered a Mercedes Sprinter which was en route to Zimbabwe via Botswana, a silver Mercedes Benz and bags containing dagga.
The suspects are expected to appear before Tom-Burg Periodical Court soon, while police investigations continue.
In a sepaerate incident, six suspects were arrested in Ohrigstad outside Burgersfort for the murder of a taxi driver who was shot and killed last month.
Police say two firearms were recovered.
