Police nab two suspects for Mabopane highway robberies
Updated | By Mapaballo Borotho
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a spate of robberies on the Mabopane highway.

The arrests come on the back of a protest by members of the community against the high crime rate in the area on Tuesday.
The protests led to police conducting an anti-crime operation in the area the next day.
Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhuluwi says two other women were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
"A preliminary investigation led the members to an address where they found a lady who confirmed that she bought the cell phone from one of the suspects, and she also pointed the police to another lady who also allegedly bought a cellphone from the same suspect," said Nevhuhuluwi.
The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
