Police release identity of man wanted for Sunnyside burglary
Sunnyside police are appealing for help from the community to identify a person of interest following the theft of laptops worth more than R300 000.
The laptops were stolen during a burglary at business premises in Muckleneuck, east of Pretoria in July 2020.
Police spokesperson, Daniel Mavimbela, says they believe that an unknown person or persons broke into several offices and stole laptops and other items on the evening of 7 July.
The wanted man is also linked to the white Mercedes Benz that was reportedly identified exiting the premises on the evening of the incident.
"The photo of the Mercedes Benz is also being circulated.
“Anyone who may be able to recognise both the man and or the vehicle in the photos supplied by the investigators may contact the nearest police station or call the Crime Stop Hotline on 0860010111 or contact Sunnyside police station at 012 422 3653/4," says Mavimbela.
