Police searching for five church robbers
Updated | By Mapaballo Borotho
Congregants of the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa in the North West were robbed of their possessions in Jourberton outside Klerksdorp on the eve of the start of the Easter weekend.

Five armed men reportedly stormed into the church during a service on Thursday evening.
The gunmen ordered the congregants to lie down, searched them and robbed them of their money, handbags as well as cellphones.
Convenor of the Moral Regeneration Movement Provincial Interim Committee, Pastor Lesiba Kgwele, has described this incident as barbaric.
"No one will be safe until the marauding heartless gang is behind bars. We therefore call on our communities to assist police who have launched a manhunt in pursuit of the robbers in their investigations.
"The effort to tackle the scourge of gangsterism in Matlosana must be bolstered and a strong partnership with our communities established in order to restore the rule of law as well as residences' confidence in the criminal justice system."
