Probe into George aircraft crash underway

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has launched an investigation into the cause of an aircraft crash in George that claimed the life of three employees.
The SACAA Flight Inspection Unit aircraft crashed on Thursday.

The flight Was meant to conduct calibration of the airport's navigation systems.
Director of Civil Aviation at SACAA Poppy Khoza says this is the first time an accident of this nature has occurred at the organisation.
“The report will be issued after 12 months if the investigation is not completed by then.
“The reports are public documents and therefore families and the public will be informed of the outcomes accordingly.”
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
