PSL star Sinethemba Jantjie dies in car crash

Condolences are pouring in following the death of Free State Stars midfielder Sinethemba Jantjie.
Jantjie died on Monday morning after he was involved in a car crash near Bethlehem in the Free State.
It’s still unclear what led to the crash.
"On behalf of the South African Football Association and South African football family, we wish to express our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Jantjie family," South African Football Association president Danny Jordaan said in a statement.

Jantjie played for the National First Division side Mbombela United before making his move to Free State Stars in 2016.
He was due to join the BidVest Wits after signing a pre-contract with the Johannesburg-based club.
Jantjie, who hailed from Whittlesea in the Eastern Cape, made his debut in the PSL during the 2016/17 season playing for Ea Lla Koto.
He joins the likes of Lesley Manyathela‚ Gift Leremi‚ Richard Henyekane‚ Cecil Lolo‚ Mondli Cele and Mlondi Dlamini to have lost their lives in car crashes.
