Rain destroys 15 homes in Tshwane
15 homes have been destroyed by the storm at the Jeffsville informal settlement in Tshwane.
There were no fatalities or injuries reported.
Tshwane Emergency Services Spokesperson Charles Mabaso said emergency relief has been activated.
"Disaster management officials issued mattresses to those affected, we are working alongside side the department of social development to assess the situation." Said Mabaso
He said a report on the damage and relief efforts will be available following the assessment.
