Rainy conditions to persist this week
Residents of Gauteng, the North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo can expect more rain and thundershowers.
According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), the rain will last until Sunday.
"The weather conditions for Gauteng today and the provinces around it, is that at the moment it is cloudy over Gauteng but we do expect some thunder showers from early this afternoon.
"In the North West province there are areas where there are active storms as we speak, in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces as well it is partly cloudy with some showers in places," says SAWS Forecaster Bubele Bulo.
