Ramathlodi claims Eskom CEO Brian Molefe and board chairperson Ben Ngubane pressured him into a R2 billion Glencore dispute.
According to amaBhungane, Molefe and Ngubane wanted Ramathlodi to suspend mining licences until they accepted the payment from the Gupta family, who wanted to buy Glencore's Optimum operation.
Optimum supplied coal to Eskom's Hendrina power station.
Ramathlodi says after his refusal he was moved to another portfolio by President Jacob Zuma.
