Rantho: I would advise Singh to come clean
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Parliament's portfolio committee on Public Enterprises chairwoman, Zukiswa Rantho, says former Eskom Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Anoj Singh, has an opportunity to tell the truth when he testifies on Tuesday.
Singh is set to testify at the inquiry into the mismanagement of state funds at the power utility on Tuesday.
Singh and former CEO, Matshela Koko has been fired from the power parastatal after Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, announced a clean-up of the board.
"As a key enabler of economic growth and social transformation, any further deterioration of Eskom's financial and operational conditions could have a severe impact on the country," says Ramaphosa.
