Updated | By Eva Chipa
Minister of Cooperative Governance Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has gazetted the amended Covid-19 regulations.

The publishing of the regulations follows the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday evening that cabinet has given the green light to the lifting of the national state of disaster.
The amendments include the dropping of masks when outdoors or attending outdoor events and the hotel and lodges allowed full capacity accommodation.
However, 32 land borders will remain closed.
“All persons in an open public space need not wear a face mask but must maintain a distance of at least one metre from another person,” the department said in a statement.
“Hotel, lodges, bed and breakfast, timeshare facilities, resorts and guest houses are allowed full capacity of the available rooms for accommodation.”
