Recalling Gordhan from London must be for something serious: Nkwinti
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti says President Jacob Zuma must have a good reason for recalling Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan from an important international roadshow at such short notice.

President Jacob Zuma instructed Gordhan and his deputy, Mcebisi Jonas, to cancel the investment promotion roadshow to the United Kingdom and the United States and return to South Africa immediately.
Nkwinti spoke on the sidelines of a media briefing on land reform.
"I don't know what is the motivation behind that, at all. I have no idea," said Nkwinti.
Speculation is rife that a cabinet reshuffle is on the cards, with Gordhan set to be replaced as the Finance Minister.
"I don't know what prompted the president to call the minister from a conference as important as that to come home. It must be a serious matter. I can only assume that," said Nkwinti.
