SACP: Decision needed on Zandile Gumede
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The South African Communist Party (SACP) says it's concerned about eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede’s extended leave of absence.
Gumede is facing corruption allegation relating to a city tender.
The African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal announced on Wednesday that Gumede’s 30-day leave of absence has been extended.
The party says the committee probing the matter hasn't completed its report to the provincial executive committee.
