Sanco set to shut down Tshwane
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
The South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) plans to shut down the Pretoria CBD on Thursday.

Sanco says it will be marching against poor service delivery by the city.
It has also requested that drivers from the South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) join the strike.
But the association’s Thabisho Molelekwa says they will not be joining in.
"Sanco is protesting about municipality billing systems in Pretoria, but is trying to opportunistically use taxi industry grievances like AARTO to garner more support from the public.”
He has given an assurance that taxis will operate as normal.
Sanco will be marching to the office of the Mayor of Tshwane, Solly Msimanga, where they will hand over a list of demands.
