SANDF suspends 27 of its members

The South African National Defence Force announced the suspension of 27 members on allegations of fraud and corruption.

The Chief of the SANDF, General Solly Shoke has placed 19 uniformed and eight civilian members of the Army Support Base in Limpopo on leave.
No further details were released in the statement below:
The Chief of the South African National Defence Force (C SANDF) General Solly Shoke places twenty-seven (27) members (19 uniformed and 8 civilians) on leave on instruction who are working at the Army Support Base Limpopo in order to allow for investigation into allegations of fraud and corruption in the base.
The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) will continue with its endeavours to fight fraud and corruption in the SANDF.
The SANDF is yet to comment on the statement that was sent out to the media late yesterday afternoon.
