Search continues for missing Kruger Park lions
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The search for four male lions that escaped from the Kruger National Park is continuing.
The search for the lions was called to break yesterday after it became dangerous to continue with the search as it grew dark.
The animals were last seen passing the N4 in Matsulu, near the park.
The South African National Parks (SANParks) spokesperson William Mabasa says they have not received any updates from the team on the ground looking for the lions.
Mabasa says its crucial for communities around the park to contact them immediately if they spot the lions.
"That's very crucial - when they spot these lions they should not try and do anything about it. We're talking about dangerous animals here," says Mabasa.
