Four senior police officers from Gauteng are set to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of fraud and corruption.

The four were arrested by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) after they were fingered in alleged corrupt activities.
Three generals and a brigadier were arrested in relation to procurement irregularities involving blue lights, amounting to more than R60 million.
A service provider was also arrested along with the police officers.
Allegations against the accused include fraud, corruption, forgery and uttering.
"The Ipid conducted an investigation and gathered evidence of criminality. They are between the ages of 53 years and 58 years old," says spokesperson Moses Dlamini.
The five suspects are set to appear at the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court on Wednesday.
