Sharpeville massacre survivor won’t vote for ANC
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Sharpeville massacre survivor Titus Ngili says he will not be voting for the ANC due to a lack of healthcare services available to him.
Ngili survived the massacre in which the apartheid police killed 69 people .
He was visited by DA leader Mmusi Maimane at his Sharpeville home on Monday afternoon.
Ngili was diagnosed with prostate cancer over ten years ago, and has been been living with a catheter ever since.
He said wants the catheter removed but the doctors at Baragwanath Hospital told him that the next available date for an operation is only 2021.

Speaking in seSotho, Ngili said he wants the catheter removed because it is making his life difficult.
"In November I told a doctor from Sebokeng to write me a letter so that they could operate on me.
"In February, I took that letter to Bara but they told me that all clinics are full. They told me to come back in March of 2021. It's too late.”
Ngili also told media that he is not afraid to tell everyone that he would be voting for the DA.
