Six killed on N11 in Mpumalanga
Six people, including a toddler, have been killed in a crash involving a truck and a car on the N11 in Mpumalanga.
The two vehicles crashed between Middelburg and Groblersdal towards Loskop Dam on Monday evening.
All six occupants were killed on the spot.
Mpumalanga Community Safety MEC Vusi Shongwe says the increasing number of fatalities on this specific road is alarming.
"We have lost many lives on the road within a short space of time, this can never be accepted. It is therefore important for everyone who uses the road to be an active participant in the fight against lawlessness and road crashes.
“We need everyone to play their part, by adhering to the rules of the road and reporting those who disregard the law."
