Strong leads in Sun City prison break

The department says it is following up strong leads as it attempts to re-arrest the sixteen suspects who escaped from the prison, colloquially known as Sun City. 

A massive manhunt has been launched but department's Singabakho Nxumalo says they have not managed to track down any of them.

Seven out of the sixteen prisoners are facing charges of murder, while three were arrested for rape and five for robbery.

Nxumalo says while the department is asking for the public's help, the detainees are dangerous and the public not not try and apprehend them.
