Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Protesting Wits students clashed with police in the streets of Braamfontein on Wednesday, amid their protests for quality, free higher education.
Students gathered for a meeting at Solomon Mahlangu House on the Wits University campus, which was damaged in protests yesterday, to discuss their plans going forward.
They then took to the streets, where police used stun grenades and teargas to disperse the group.

This student sat down and started studying at the feet of police officers, saying she will not be intimidated.
