Suspect in court for Tshegofatso Pule murder

Thirty-one-year-old Muzikayise Malephane made a brief first appearance in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Dressed in a black puffer jacket with his head bowed down, Malephane wept throughout his brief appearance in court.

He is charged with the premeditated murder of the heavily pregnant 28-year-old Tshegofatso Pule, whose body was found hanging from a tree in Roodepoort earlier this month.
The case was postponed to June 24 for Malephane to obtain legal representation.
He indicated to the court that he would not be applying for bail.
