Team SA arriving at OR Tambo

South African Olympic athletes, including gold medalist, Caster Semenya will arrive back in Johannesburg this morning after the most successful Olympics since readmission in 1992.
The crowds started gathering at the O.R. Tambo International Airport since early this morning to await the arrival of Team SA.
Media crews, journalists, photographers and supporters were chearful as they waited patiently for the news of TeamSA's plane that is expected to touch down just before 8 am this morning.
On Sunday South Africans took to Twitter to congratulate Caster Semenya after she won a gold medal in the women’s 800m final at the Rio Olympics.

While some South Africans stayed up all night to watch Semenya run at 02:15, others were happy to wake up to what has been described as a victorious win.
