A truck driver accused of smuggling explosives into the country is expected to appear in the Musina Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo on Monday.

Provincial police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the 33-year-old man was arrested at the Beitbridge border post early on Saturday morning.
He says the driver was entering the country from Zimbabwe.
Police searched his vehicle and discovered commercial explosives concealed inside four big bags.
Mojapelo says members of the Musina Explosive Unit attended to the scene and discovered three reels of detonating cord and about 769 units of blasting cartridges.
The man will be charged with smuggling and possession of explosives.
