Twitter calls for #NationalWedding day to be proclaimed following #KFCProposal
Twitter users have called for President Cyril Ramaphosa to declare a public holiday to mark the wedding of the now-famous #KFCProposal couple.
On Friday, #KFCProposal, #KFCWedding, and #NationalWedding were al trending on Twitter with the latter hashtag still trending on Saturday.
This follows the viral video of a man proposing in a KFC outlet, which garnered hundreds of thousands of rands in donations.

Corporates have been backing the wedding all the way, promising donations for everything from vouchers, to money for lobola negotiations.
