Two dead, two injured as car crashes into wall in Johannesburg
Two people died and two others were injured, one of them critically, when the car they were travelling in hit a wall in Golf Club Terrace in Florida, Johannesburg, early on Sunday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said paramedics arrived on the scene and found the badly damaged car against a house wall.
“Upon assessment of the male driver and a female back passenger, both believed to be in their 20s, it was found that they had sadly succumbed to their injuries.”
The front passenger, a woman understood to be 18 years of age, was found to have sustained critical injuries.
A fourth passenger, also a woman, sustained moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care. The cause of the accident was unknown, Bodasing said.
