Limpopo police are investigating the death of two people who drowned during a baptism in Senwabarwana outside Polokwane.

The two men were part of a group of congregants who were baptised at the Masetheko dam when they drowned.
Police spokesperson Mamphaswa Seabi said the two bodies were retrieved by the police.
"A pastor was reportedly busy conducting baptismal rituals in the said dam when four people who were to be baptised fell into the dam. One of them managed to swim out, the other (a woman) was rescued and the remaining two drowned.
Two weeks ago a pastor and a congregant drowned during a baptism at Mogol river in Lephalale.
