Two injured in Benrose paint factory fire
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Two people suffered smoke inhalation after a paint shop caught fire in Benrose, north of Johannesburg on Wednesday.
However, Johannesburg emergency services says both people refused medical attention.
Spokesperson Nana Radebe says the fire has since been contained.
"On arrival we found out that it is a paint factory and there were blazes everywhere.
"We had managed to take out two vehicles but unfortunately three of them had already caught fire. At the moment we are busy with dumping down and then we'll do a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the fire," she says.
