Two officers from the Johannesburg Metro Police Department are set to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on charges of corruption.
The officers were arrested on Sunday after a video circulating on social media showed them apparently soliciting money from unknown men near Albertina Sisulu Street at Bez Valley.

The city's MMC for the Department of Public Safety Michael Sun says the video, which is believed to have been recorded on Saturday, shows two unknown men emptying their pockets while inside a JMPD patrol vehicle.
After seeing the video, Sun requested senior JMPD officials to trace the patrol vehicle and the police officers involved.
"The officers were arrested yesterday morning and taken to the Jeppe Police Station where they have been detained," says Sun.
The two officers will also face internal disciplinary processes and face the possibility of being dismissed, if found guilty.
