Two nabbed for child porn in Polokwane
Limpopo police have arrested two suspects for possession of child porn and ammunition in Polokwane.
The suspects, aged 23 and 52, were nabbed on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says police received a tip-off about a man who was in possession of child porn material.
"During the operation, the suspect was arrested for possession of child porn material at Cycad Shopping Centre parking lot in the morning.
"The team proceeded to his residence to collect more evidence, a 23-year-old was found in possession of ammunition in his room. He was also arrested."
"They then recovered 52: ammunition of rifle, 04: shotgun rounds, empty cartridges, propellant power, panga and knives amongst other items."
The suspects are expected to appear before Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
