WATCH: Another deadly shooting at Gauteng tavern
The police have confirmed yet another shooting at a tavern in Gauteng.
One person was killed in the shooting in Mamelodi, east of Tshwane.
The incident took place at the Monaco tavern in the early hours of Monday morning.
The latest shooting follows hot on the heels of the mass shooting at a tavern in Nomzamo Park in which 15 people were killed.
Two people were also shot dead at a tavern in Katlehong on Friday.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says three suspects wearing balaclavas and armed with pistols arrived at the venue.
"The trio fired in the air before approaching the 33-year-old man and shooting him twice," says Sello.
“The motive of the shooting is not yet known as the police are investigation a case of murder.”
