Gautrain has confirmed it will institute disciplinary proceedings against a bus driver who was filmed by a passenger texting and driving in Sandton on Tuesday afternoon.

In the video, the driver, who was ferrying passengers from Rivonia to Sandton, is seen driving with one hand while texting on his phone.
The passenger, who posted the video on Twitter, says she had to hold onto the rails in the bus while it was happening.
