According to Muthan, learners were gathering outside the school, barricading the road.
The motorist allegedly lost his temper and drove straight into the crowd with his white BMW.
"The matter was reported by the chairperson of the school's governing body Warren McKrill. At this moment we have not received any injuries that may have occurred at the time," Muthan.
He says a video clip doing the rounds on social media is currently being authenticated by the detective handling the case.
