WATCH: Popcru march in Pretoria
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Hundreds of members from the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) made their way to the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Friday.
The union will hand over a memorandum of demands to Police Minister Bheki Cele.
One of the demands is the restructuring of the South African Police Services (SAPS).
Speaking to JacarandaFM News, Popcru's Richard Mamabolo said most of the budget is allocated to provincial and national offices while there are an inadequate number of officers on the ground, struggling without the necessary equipment.
