Supporters packed the Piazza at Montecasino on Friday to bid farewell to the 31-man squad heading to the 2015 Rugby World Cup
The Springboks spent some time engaging the public before they boarded the team bus for OR Tambo International Airport.
The are scheduled to land in on London early Saturday morning.
Their first match will be against Japan on 19 September in Brighton.
