We cannot be 'a nation of kisses': Lesufi
Updated | By Neo Motloung
Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says schoolchildren are
over-exposed to sexual content on television screens.

Panyaza says civil society, churches and the education department should meet with the creative industry and production companies to address the matter.
"We need to call on producers and creatives in the industry to do better; they can honestly do better. I know they say sex sells, but they are overdoing it.
"You know, sometimes I find it difficult to watch TV with my children," says Lesufi.
He made the comments while addressing the National Press Club in Pretoria yesterday.
The MEC has also condemned the use of alcohol, drugs and guns on TV.
"Every story there must be gangsterism, every story there must be a gun, every story there must be alcohol and children are watching.
"We don't want to impose our will on them; we really believe they can do better. But if they want short cuts; violence, alcohol, sex and other things they must not call themselves creatives."
