WEATHER: Another coldfront heading our way

The SA Weather Service has issued a warning of very cold conditions that are expected in places over the southern parts of the Northern Cape from today.

Warmer daytime temperatures are however expected over most parts of the Jacaranda FM broad cast area.


Gauteng: Fine and cool.

Johannesburg: 07 / 23


Mpumalanga: Fine and cool to warm but very hot in the Lowveld becoming partly cloudy in the east, with evening fog patches over the escarpment.

Emalahleni: 08 / 23


Limpopo: Fine and warm.


Polokwane: 08 / 27


North West: Fine and cool to warm.


Rustenburg: 08 / 24


Free State: Fine and cool but partly cloudy and cold in the south.


Bloemfontein: 02 / 18


Northern Cape: Cold in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated rain and showers in the west and south at first. It will be very cold on the southwestern high ground.


Kimberley: 03 / 19


Western Cape: Cloudy and cold with rain and showers, clearing over the northern and eastern interior by late morning.


Cape Town: 09 / 14


Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and cool but cold in the south. It will be cloudy with isolated showers along the south coast.


Port Elizabeth:


KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and cool along the coast becoming cloudy in the evening with showers along the south coast. It will be fine over the interior. The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly.
