Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over Northern Cape, West Coast District, Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo, and Eden Districts of the Western Cape as well as the north-western interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gale force south-westerly winds of 65km/h are expected between Cape St. Frances and Algoa Bay from evening.


Extremely hot conditions are expected in the interior of the Western Cape, and western interior of the Eastern Cape.


Hot and dry weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the interior of the Western Cape.
